The engine in our frankenstien monster is not too far from stock, except for the fact that it has a 14b turbo bolted on instead of the 12a. There are also some slight modifications that we had to do to but the fuel injected 2.6 into our carb'd Raider. This included upgrading the fuel lines, and installing an electrical fuel pump. We also had to bolt the oil pan form the Raider's 2.6 onto the Conquest 2.6.  This allows it to miss our 4x4 drivetrain. Speaking of the drivetrain, we are using a stock 4spd auto transmission that originally came in the Raider. This will bolt right onto the Conquest motor, and with an auto we will not lose boost between shifts. When doing some research we also found that the auto transmission is also quite a bit stronger than the manual.
